The AI Act is already in force, and since February 2, 2025, it requires all providers and users of AI systems operating in the EU to ensure their teams have a sufficient level of AI literacy (Article 4).
If your employees are using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini without any formal AI training, you could already be in violation of the law without even knowing it.
But compliance isn’t the only concern. Without proper training, your teams risk:
Exposing sensitive or confidential data
Trusting AI outputs without critical review
Reinforcing bias in decisions
Losing essential human skills to automation
At FIT Academy, we’ve developed a comprehensive AI Literacy program to help organisations meet regulatory standards, reduce risk, and build long-term data culture—based on the European DigComp 2.2 framework.
